Devil May Cry 4 Characters

Nero
Nero

A young knight in the Order of the Sword tasked with demon-slaying. He has a notoriously twisted personality and a dirty mouth, both of which tend to drive people away and result him in being assigned the Order's "dirtiest" jobs. But Nero actually prefers solo missions, because they suit his style. His prodigious skill has earned him the respect of Captain Credo and others. His right arm has transformed into that of a demon.

Dante
Dante

The legendary devil hunter who resealed the Demon Emperor Mundus after the latter's revival. Dante is a rare human-demon hybrid, born to a human woman and the demon Sparda, who is worshipped by the Order of the Sword as a god. Dante's skills in battle with his blade and handguns are said to surpass even his father's.
Upon sensing impropriety behind the Order's actions, he attacks during the Festival of the Blade and assassinates Sanctus. Regardless of whether or not Dante is aware of Nero's lineage, he decides to watch over the young demon slayer all the same.

Vergil is Dante's twin brother, and he also carries the bloodline of Sparda. Unlike Dante, he embraces his demonic heritage. Intrigued by the Order of the Sword, who worship Sparda as a god, he pays a visit to Fortuna many years before Dante's arrival.
